About Everyone Clapped
Everyone Clapped is a satirical newspaper. It reports the plots of films, television, sport, and music as though they were sober matters of national record — incidents, overreactions, and public-facing confidence, covered with the gravity they almost never deserve.
The plot facts are accurate. The humour comes entirely from the framing: a straight newsroom voice applied to events that were never meant to be treated as news. Nothing here is a real event, and no real person is quoted.
The recurring experts, Reddit threads, community polls, and editor’s notes are all fictional devices. Any resemblance to actual reporting is the entire point, and also a coincidence.
In short: this is satire and parody. Read it as you would a well-behaved tabloid that has lost all sense of proportion.
